Our Approach Our Advisers won't tell you what to do, but will explain your options and the possible outcomes of different courses of action. You will be encouraged to make your own decisions and act on your own behalf. We will enable you to manage your problems by concentrating on your specific needs and providing you with relevant and up-to-date information. Our Advisers use all the latest information to ensure that the best and most accurate advice is being offered. Citizens Advice Bureau is not only an advice agency. We are a major national campaigning organization.
Campaigning for Change Citizens Advice is well placed to identify failing social policy. We have a central role in speaking up for clients and use our findings from all over the country to contribute to public debate, to inform legislation, and to influence policies, practices and services to seek change for the better. At Citizens Advice Waverley, our close relationship with local MP's means that we have direct routes to government agencies, and our campaigning experience ensures that we are able to effectively express the concerns of our clients to other organisations. We contribute to Citizens Advice national campaigns and we campaign locally in order to improve the lives of our clients in Waverley. Examples include;
