HEALTH

If you or someone close to you has a disability or health problem there may be Welfare Benefits and support available to you. There may be specific support groups that could help. You may be seeking information about the care available from the National Health Service.

Whatever difficulties you may be experiencing, telephone us or visit one of our offices to speak to an Adviser.

In certain circumstances we may be able to arrange home visits.

What Citizens Advice Waverley can do for you

  • Check that you are claiming all the Welfare Benefits you are entitled to.
  • Help you present your case if you have been refused benefits.
  • Give you information on available support services.
  • Help you to ask for adaptations to your home.
  • Help you to consider a legal claim if your condition has arisen from an accident or medical negligence.

If you are experiencing difficulties regarding health, or want information, call our Advice Line 0844 848 7969 and speak to one of our Advisers. If an appointment is necessary, you will need to bring any relevant paperwork with you.
