CONSUMER ISSUES
What Citizens Advice Waverley can do
for you
We can help by;
- Explaining any rights you may have to refund
or to compensation for payment of goods and services, and negotiate
for you to resolve the matter if possible.
- Explaining how you may use the County Court
to enforce your rights and assist you with form filling, preparing your
case and assembling suitable evidence and drafting letters that you
may need to write.
- Identifying any cancellation rights you may
have in your credit agreement and generally explaining the meaning of
your contract terms.
- Explaining any late payment penalties within
your credit agreement or any benefits from early payment.
- Explaining the quality of goods and services
you could expect from a trader bearing in mind the price paid.
What you should do
- Bring any written contract you may have together
with any letters which have been written about the matter. Receipts
are useful.
- Try to remember everything which was said at
the time you purchased the goods or services, particularly any information
you sought relating to your purchase, how you intended to use it and
the timescale in which it should have been provided.
- If the case has reached the County Court, please
bring all correspondence that you have had with the court.
